Yoga Is Not Only A Physical Practice!

 

I honestly feel extremely sad whenever a friend tells me that they are not flexible enough to practice yoga. IT IS NOT ABOUT THAT. Please read.

Flexibility is just a possible gift that can be achieved through our asana practice. It may or may not come to you. Yet that is not the point. That is not the goal. With yoga, one can observe the physical capacity of the body while calming the mind. Hence we say it is seriously important to connect the mind and the body during the flows or postures. We relieve the mind through our conscious and steady breaths.

We are here on our mats to cherish our souls, to be the most achievable version of ourselves, to see what is inside.

Do not focus on how you seem, but rather focus on how you feel. You will notice the difference. Only then you will be able to explore your mind. Only then you will be able to really see the obscurity of the physical world.
