I’ll tell you what. I practice yoga regularly, but I can still have backaches.
There are tons of things that cause my pain. Sometimes it is because sitting on a chair for more than 3 hours. Sometimes it is because of scrolling on my phone endlessly. Sometimes it is because of carrying heavy shopping bags (as I did yesterday indeed!).
And, yes, sometimes it is because of emotional stress.
Whether we realize it or not we tighten our body, especially our shoulders, whenever we feel anxious, nervous, angry, sad, hopeless. We sink in our heads, in our thoughts so deeply that we forget about what is going on in our bodies.
To help you relax your back and shoulders, I prepared this video. All you need to do is spare 5 minutes and apply these while breathing consciously.
