meditation on self discovery
It is not important how quick or flexible I am. (Hear the rustling of the leaves)
It is not important how much progress I have made. (Giggling of the children playing outside)
Even it is a one millimetre distance I can make, I embrace the movement. (Sun is getting down)
Say it with me: I cannot grow by bullying myself or my body. (Time is on my side)
Slowing down is not a weakness, on the contrary, it is a way of empowerment. (I am in peace)
Slowing down means taking care of yourself, witnessing your pieces in detail. (I am aware)
Who are you when you are not rushing?
Who are you when you are alone on your mat?
Can you achieve what you want unhurriedly? Can you dig the solids of your undefined ambitions? What are your ambitions? Why are they there, inside of you? What is inside of you? Is it your mind? Is it your body, your internal organs? What are you thinking? Are you thinking or are you running away from your thoughts?
Do not push your heels harder to touch the ground. Witness the situation.
Do not straighten your legs if they are shaking too much. See your limits.
Create an imaginary pond on your mat to see your reflection. Let that pond include your feelings and thoughts along with your physical body.
Roll your shoulders back. Stretch your arms. Stretch your mind.
Where are you now? Notice the layers of the universe flowing above you.The ceiling, the sky, the outer space, planets, stars, constellations, black holes, galaxies.
Feel the ground beneath you and its layers through the core of the Earth.
Are you home yet?
Are you calm yet?
Say it with me: I cannot grow by bullying myself or my body.
