8 days in a row

It has been officially one week now.

For 8 days, I have been doing regular yoga practice, Adriene's "TRUE". (Hurray I am back on the mat)

First things first, I am not as flexible as I was 3 or 4 months ago. (No surprises)
However, through this blog and my Instagram account, I could check my whole journey in the last year and I saw how much I improved myself both physically and mentally.
So, one thing is certain; regular practice pays you back.

For the latest pros of yoga practice for my body...
I need to tell you that in one week I got rid of my back pain. Due to traveling as well as to uncomfortable beds I have been sleeping recently, my shoulders and neck were in so much pain.
Then, I started doing yoga again.
Hocus pocus, they are gone. (But really, isn't yoga something magical?)

Talking about mental improvements...
I am not running anywhere, so I am taking it as slowly as I can.
That means I am just enjoying those moments I spend on the mat.
You know, I used to rush into the poses and my main goal was to perform asanas. Now, I only want to see what my body responses to me when I decide to move. I want to hear my muscles. I want to feel my breath going through my veins. Because this is how you feel alive, baby.
This is how you become more conscious about your presence on earth.

So, yeah, move your body and just follow the rhythm you create. That's all.
