In today’s practice, I put so much effort to use my core muscles while shifting from one asana to another. I guess this flow has been specifically built for activating them. There were plank poses, many downward dogs, knee to nose flow, one legged tabletop position etc. etc. Each of them needs to be supported by the core in order to sustain the correct posture and movement. It is kind of weird when you first figure out how your muscles move and how your body reacts to you. The whole energy scatters from the core to all corners of your body when you act properly.
Then you
also start to give your precise attention to control your breaths and to focus
on your thoughts. “Oh man, right now I am doing yoga, I am breathing deeply and
calmly but at the same time I am working out. It feels incredibly good that now
I am noticing I’ve forgotten all of my daily concerns!!!!” Yeah, welcome to the
club.
