"Everything is within. Seek nothing outside of yourself."
It wasn’t the most courageous day
for me. I slept all day and did nothing requiring physical power but yoga. It
was just a lazy Saturday for me but today’s session provided me an energy boosting
fun time thanks to @adrienelouise. I don’t know if I have enough courage to do
anything but today I admired my body as I could perform every posture and
movement without shaking or forcing myself. (Yeah, I kept breathing, that’s the
secret.) It is utterly beautiful when you see your practice has added something
to your balance, muscles, grounding, and mind. Decisions and dedications are
powerful actions presenting you that courage you are seeking for and courage comes
along with strength allowing you to go on. It is up to you to decide how you “spend”
your existence eventually. Maybe everything on this world requires something to
achieve something. We all endeavour to get somewhere, to graduate, to live in a
better country, to work at a better job, to earn more money, to have a
reputable title, fancier clothes, more comfortable furniture, more beautiful
skin, healthier bodies; it is an endless list going like this. But do we have
enough courage to listen to ourselves? Do we have time for our true selves? We are
programmed to forget our existence. We are rushed into consume it like we do for
everything else. But it’s up to you to realise because unlike the things I’ve
just listed, listening to yourself requires nothing. It is just you and you.
The universe is so much bigger than
I can even imagine and today I was just a tiny little dot on a liveable planet,
doing #bakasana. Earlier today I have asked myself why I keep showing on my
mat. I guess this is a good answer for my question. I don’t want to consume my
existence. Namaste.
