day 53 - eeeeaaaaaagggggggle
I DID YOGA
FOR 50 MINUTES ON THE 53RD DAY. I STILL CAN’T BELIEVE I HAVE ACHIEVED THIS.
Two years
ago even 30 minutes seemed too much to me! Fiji’s first day was amazing
literally. But… it was challenging as well. To be honest, I needed to rest at
some stages of the practice. For example when I was performing the chair pose
for the 3rd time in sequence my legs couldn’t endure. I quickly
moved to mountain pose to rest them. The flow is so full of energy that I don’t
know how I am going to sleep now.
(Don't I look like a snake rather than an eagle? This pose is called eagle pose but I don't know why and when I say eagle only one thing comes into my mind: scrubs & JD.)
what kind of yoga is this guys?
In this
flow, movements & postures are more connected than Adriene’s flows. They
are also more advanced. This makes me swell with pride as long as I can do the
postures. For today there are not any asana that are too difficult but I am
sure there will in the next 13 days. Yo, remember that this is only a 14 days
challenge with Fiji. Then I will be back to Adriene’s channel.
Fiji’s
explanations are good and through her inspiring one or two sentences during the
flow you can calm your mind too. However, she is too fast to follow. When she
is in downward facing dog and raising her one leg, I am in chaturanga, trying
to catch up.
The most
pleasurable sequel postures I have had today’s session are moving from pigeon’s
pose to a twist by bringing the back leg on top of the front leg. I was like “Whooaah
that’s so smart!!!” I am sure these people find these by practicing a lot and
going into flow really. Secondly, going from shavasana to full body stretch
felt me like ocean waves. When I was in shavasana I was going towards to the
shore and when my body was straightened fully I was there.
Soooooo IF
YOU WANT A REALLY CHALLENGING YOGA FLOW PLEASE TRY THIS 50 MINS. Please do not
find any excuses because I came home at 7 pm, cleaned the house, changed the
decoration of my room and the living room and did yoga between 9.30 and 10.30
pm. It’s 11.30 and I am writing about my experience here. Have some fucking
courage to do something for your body and soul.
You. Are.
Worth. It.
Can’t wait
for tomorrow.
See yo
later alligator!
