day 43 - tolasana
Hi people.
I’ve
started my October programme today. 10 minutes of productivity and focus
practice was yummy and easy. However, I haven’t meditate yet but searched for
podcasts. I am not sure if I can do it by myself or not. That’s why I’ve
decided to listen to some meditation podcasts. There are tons of them in Spotify,
so it’s difficult to choose. I will try randomly every day to find the best for
me.
I know it’s
important to write my feelings about it but I guess I won’t have time because I
am planning to sleep once I complete 10 mins of meditation. Tomorrow I will
convey my thoughts on it. I am quite excide to be honest. My mat is becoming
like a home for me, where I feel safe and in peace. Most of the time I don’t
realise what I am thinking because like my body my thoughts also flow. However,
during meditation you only do it by focusing on your mind. I am seeing videos
on youtube titled “How Meditation Changed My Life” and those make me even
curious. Sanity and calmness are needed by everyone struggling with daily
tasks.
Doing
these, yoga, meditation, this blog, writing, taking photos, Instagram;
everything about these is evolving irreplaceable parts of my day already. I
like this self-discipline I am building inside of me. I am learning to be more
patient and programmed. I am starting to realise I can succeed in everything
only by believing and then starting, which is completely because of my growing
self-respect and confidence. It’s good.
The Science Behind The TolasanaThis asana is a calm, strong pose that requires both patience and perseverance to get it right. You need to make sure you keep your mind quiet and free of thoughts. Your breath needs to be constant too. This should be done while you work towards dangling like a scale. Then, as you get the power to lift yourself up, you will also get the balance between your mind, body, and spirit.
